OUR VINEYARDS
Bodegas Sani has its own vineyards in the county of Badajoz, a vineyard
region known as Tierra de Barros.
This region has fertile and clay soils that are very rich in nutrients that provide
its wines with exceptional qualities well-known from the
Ancient Ages.
Different varieties of wine grow in the vineyards of Sani: Tempranillo, Syrah,
Merlot, Cayetana, Chardonnay, Cabernet, Moscatel from Alexandria, Eva,… Grapes
are paid attention since the beginning, only some clusters
are allowed to grow to avoid that a saturation of clusters could affect the
quality.
Faithful to the premise of supreme quality there is a hand picking collection.
Grapes are put in perforated plastic bags and then are placed in refrigerating
trucks so that the product arrives in perfect conditions to the cellar.
ALCHEMISTS OF WINE
FROM THE LAND TO THE TABLE
Once the transport is done, the grapes are unloaded on a reception hopper,
that’s to say, a recipient in form of an invested truncated pyramid whose
bottom communicates with the “press machine” where the fruit suffers
a breaking using pressure. |
